a one-two film festival

Tonight I am going to see Full Metal Village, a new documentary directed by Sung-Hyung Cho about a small German farming village and the mega-metal music festival that descends upon it every year. If the previews are anything to go by, it will be hilarious and a perfect companion to one of my favorite German films, Schultze Gets the Blues (2003, M. Schorr). Treat yourself to a mini-film festival and see both when you get the chance.
